Text To Morse Code; Morse Code To Text

Morse code is an abbreviated form of writing used by telegraph operators, consisting of a series of dots and dashes that spell out a message.

Morse code is a system that allows messages to be transmitted using long and short signals. It was originally used for telegraphy and later developed for radiotelegraphy.

Morse code was developed by Samuel Morse and Alfred Vail in the mid-19th century. It is named after the American artist and inventor Samuel F. B. Morse who invented it as an efficient method to signal information over telegraph wires, making use of a standardized language for communication in the process.

Morse began to teach the language, first at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, England, then later through his lectures were published in pamphlet form. He also made many improvements to the existing codes by adding features such as dots and dashes to indicate letters rather than just signals.

Morse code is becoming less popular these days due to its limited range as its dependence on having some wire or other object as an antenna which limits its practicalities for use in remote locations or long distances from transmitters.
