HEX ⟷ RGB ⟷ HSL Color Converter

Hex color format is a six-digit hexadecimal number. Hex code is used in HTML and CSS to specify the color of text and background.

The hex format for color consists of two digits for the red value, two digits for the green value, and two digit for the blue value. For example, #FF0000 is red.

Hex color can be also be specified as "RRGGBB" with no spaces or quotation marks around it.

RGB color is a common format for specifying colors and has been around since the 1980s. It is composed of red, green, and blue color channels that can have values from 0-255 each which define a range of colors.

RGB color codes can be used to specify color on websites or in applications with different coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

While most people use the RGB color model, there is another one that is widely used and is called Hue Saturation Lightness (HSL). This is also sometimes referred to as HSL color format.

The HSL color model uses three components: Hue, Saturation, and Lightness. The Hue dimension allows you to specify the relative position along the circle between 0° and 360°. The saturation dimension ranges from 0% for no saturation to 100% for full saturation. The lightness dimension ranges from 0% for darkness to 100% for lightness.

There are various ways of using these color formats that can help designers find a better solution than they would have otherwise found by just looking at colors in RGB format alone.
